ONLINE LEGAL ADVICE
In addition to in-court and out-of-court work, we also offer online legal advice.
For more complex issues and legal relationships, a personal conversation with the lawyer is usually indispensable. Often, however, those seeking justice also have clearly defined questions about manageable problems. Online legal advice is available here.
The consultation is initiated by your e-mail request. In it you describe the situation and your question. We will then determine whether the question can be clarified by means of online legal advice. If this is the case, we will make you an offer for the consulting costs. Only then do you decide whether you want to accept our offer of advice. If this is the case, transfer the consulting fee to our account. This is how the consulting contract comes into being. After receipt of payment, we assure you that the result of the consultation will be sent to you within two days at the most.
If you do not want to accept our offer, simply refrain from making a transfer. We will then delete your request after two weeks.
Please find out more about the details of online counseling by clicking on the following topics:
Bedingungen für die Online-Rechtsberatung
1. Conclusion of the contract
The transmission of your facts and your legal question does not initially represent a legally significant declaration as a request. Rather, we are asked to submit a fee offer. The consulting contract is only concluded when you agree to the fee offer and declare this by transferring the fee to one of our accounts or by sending a check for the corresponding amount. Of course, only fully completed consultation requests can be processed.
2. Legal protection insurance
If you have legal protection insurance, please contact your legal protection insurance yourself and clarify whether the costs of the online consultation will be covered. If this is the case, it is up to you to forward our consultation invoice to your legal expenses insurance company and to request compensation from them. You can obtain information from the clerks at your legal expenses insurance.
3. Confidentiality
In the case of unencrypted communication via the Internet via e-mail, we cannot guarantee the confidentiality of the message content. In principle, however, we assume that we can and should answer your unencrypted request in the same way. If you want to rule out this risk, please expressly request that our statement be sent by post, stating your postal address.
4. Disclaimers
When processing your request, we will use the communicated facts as a basis. We are not responsible for errors in advice that are based on incomplete or inaccurate descriptions of the facts. Liability for the announced processing time is not accepted unless specific deadlines have been expressly agreed and confirmed by us in writing. Under no circumstances can we accept liability for the timely receipt of our statement. Furthermore, no liability is assumed for network failures or network disruptions caused by our provider or a third party. This also applies if we are temporarily unavailable due to maintenance work on our own network. Of course, the above exclusions of liability do not apply if we are guilty of intent or gross negligence.
5. Privacy
Your personal data will only be collected and processed for the purpose of executing the consulting contract. The communication documents are printed out and archived for a period of five years from the end of the order.
6. Severability
Should provisions of the contract or these contractual conditions be or become invalid or should the contract be incomplete, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a regulation that comes as close as possible to the ineffectively regulated sense and purpose in an effective manner. The same applies to any gaps in the contract.
Your costs for online legal advice
Your request for online legal advice initially costs nothing. You will receive an offer from us that you can accept by transferring money to our account.
According to § 34 RVG, the lawyer and client should agree on the fee. Nevertheless, we will continue to base our fee proposal on the system of the Lawyers' Fees Act (RVG) and make you a proposal that stays within this framework. You can therefore continue to assume that the costs of legal advice, which are primarily based on the scope and difficulty of the matter, are between €100.00 and €190.00 in the case of an initial consultation, plus statutory VAT in each case.
In simple cases, you can count on costs between €50.00 and €100.00.
In any case, we undertake to submit a corresponding proposal to you before providing advice, so that it remains your own decision whether you accept this proposal.
